Where to start

Right now, I'm working on a couple of commissioned pieces. I've only started one so far. These are for twin grandsons for a relative. The babies are  fraternal, so their birth pieces will also be different. The one I'm currently working on is called ModZoo. It's fairly simple to stitch. No fractional stitches, not much shading. It seems to be working up rather quickly. I began stitching on September 12, and it's about 75% stitched, except of course for the backstitching. That will take a while. The kit short changed me on materials. I'm having to wait for some thread. The listed DMC exchange is too far off for me to be comfortable substituting. Plus, they seemed to really give you a tiny piece of fabric. If I'd realized how close it was to the actual size of the project, I'd have probably pulled some of my own fabric out. Too late now. I taped the edges, so there won't any raveling. I guess it's lucky for me that I won't be doing the framing on this one.
